Project Description

Maureen A Jackson

Maureen A Jackson trained in Art and Design at North Cheshire College before taking ceramics at Wrexham College of Art and Design. Her work with clay and on canvas has always reflected her passion for romantic myths and legends, and the humour  and humanity of folklore. While attending Cardiff University she won an award for the most original design, with her “ bar scenes” sculptures. Maureen now lives in Cowbridge, where the local culture inspired her for the creation of the Lucky Welsh Goblins. They are all different characters, perfect for inside or outdoors.
